Beautiful beach with easy access to the rest of town: big waves, soft sand, dunes, dogs, and a short walk to coffee - what more do you need? There are other beaches nearby that are better for looking for sea critters, but this is the best in the area for relaxing. Never empty, but never crowded. Plus, lots and lots of dogs - we happened to go on Carmel’s Poodle Day.

Great atmosphere and drinks are outstanding too. Nice low key spot to kick back after a long day's work. Staff is excellent and are more like family. Shelby is a great bartender and consistently keeps checking on the tables/customers. She makes it feel like home and not a bar.
